St. Augustine Clock

St. Augustine said that three realities in the mind exist,...the realities of past things (memory), present things (attention), and future things (expectation). What it expects passes by way of what it attends to into what it remembers...

Time is a constant in our relationships with our belongings. But it is relative time that we parse, not absolute. Our memories of objects play on our memories of relative time... youth, marriage, first job, etc. This clock honors relative time, by displaying the light of the sun and sky through out the day, relative to one another.

Time is conveyed through the relative nature of the colors....and our memories and expectations of what those color combinations represent in terms of the time of day.
