This is one of the more recent photos that is in my portfolio. I recently went on a trip to New York City. I was eager to go and capture what life really is like in the big city. This photo was taken in Times Square during the day time. Notice how the sky completely disappears and turns into just white. There are so many lights that are reflecting off of all the billboards. The picture also includes the many tall buildings, cars, and people that are in Times Square. NYC is a busy place to be and this shows how many things are going on at once. When one is in NYC, do they even notice the sky or nature in general? The answer is no which is why the sky is irrelevant in this picture.

This photo was a recent photo taken in Times Square. You have likely already seen a photo in my portfolio of Times Square in the daytime, however I also wanted to capture what NYC is like in the night time. NYC has a very strong and active night life, as there is so much that can be done. This photo shows how much the city lights up in the night time. If you were to look up at the sky, you would not be able to see any stars because of how lit Times Square is at night. Notice, there are still cars and many people out enjoying the night life in the city.

This photo was taken on the Staten Island Ferry in New York City. The Staten Island Ferry took all those aboard to Staten Island and back. The purpose of this was to get closer to the Statue of Liberty. Though the Statue of Liberty was a sight to see, I fell in love looking at New York City from a distance. All the tall buildings really showed what a busy city it was and made me want to go straight back. One can analyze this as leaving a city behind to go somewhere new or returning home. Either way, the photo is stunning and great to see and imagine what it is like to be in those tall buildings!
