This photo was taken in Fall 2012 in my Photography 101 class at Cecil College with a Nikon digital camera. We were allowed to walk around and take photos outside and outside of campus I found this beautiful insect. The insect is doing what it would naturally do. I zoomed it and captured this moment of an insect relaxing on a tree branch. Also, this photo highlights how "green" nature can be. It is amazing what a photo can really show and focus in on and it was great to be able to capture what an insect normally does. It's amazing what beautiful things we can see when we go outside and admire nature.
This photo was taken in July of 2014 in Gatlinburg, Tennessee with a Nikon digital camera. There is a main road where tons of shops and tourist attractions are. Among the business of it all, this beautiful waterfall sat there. It is really fascinating how nature can really take one's breath away. I like the way the light shines through the open areas between the trees. It gives just enough light to highlight the waterfall. It makes me wonder how all of this beauty was created. Nature is really perfect and it is something that I love to explore within photography. I can't wait to see the beauty of the entire world one day!
This photo was taken in Gatlinburg, Tennessee with a Nikon digital camera. There was a place there called "The Island". This place had rides, shops, and great scenery. Among the great scenery was this beautiful fountain shooting out water in multiple directions. I always loved and have been fascinated by the movement of water. It can really add to a picture. There is just something about it that interests me. The shutter speed was set at a medium speed as it did blur the motion of the water a little. Burring the water motion made the picture look fuller. Because the water makes it look fuller, the water movement and the fountain itself because the focus (or subject) of the photo.
