This photo was taken last summer at Ocean City, Maryland with my Samsung Galaxy S3 smartphone. It is hard not to take a minute and admire and photograph the Ocean (or any body of water for that matter). The waves, the movement of the water, or the stillness of the Ocean is all something worth capturing. In this photo, the water is moving as you see a small wave heading to the shore (where I was). The sand, the water, and the cloudy skies all made this moment worth capturing. This photo also captures how fa out the Ocean really goes. There is no sight of land among the horizon. It is something that I think about and it is something that I believe is really cool to capture.

Another luxury of living on the east coast is being so close to many bodies of water. I live about an hour an a half away from Ocean City, MD and multiple beaches. It is a luxury to be able to live that close and I want to take the opportunities to take photos of these bodies of waters. I hope to one day capture an animal swimming in the water, as that would be pretty cool.
