Halloween Costume Contest & Food Drive - This is an event I have organized multiple years (with the help of various fabulous interns). It's an all around fun / family-friendly event that brings exposure to Feather Blue Studios (photography) by partnering with the local kid-friendly coffee shop, while benefiting the Second Harvest Heartland. To extend the exposure, the contest aspect means costumed-cuties are voted for online, bringing friends and family flocking to the Feather Blue blog and facebook pages.
This little event was a way to reach the ever-popular doll loving crowd (6-12 year olds). With American Girl and other dolls a popular trend, the event was aiming to draw on the similar high-end audience. Chic and trendy details made it unique (girl/doll trading cards, snacks for the moms, doll crafts) and it was an all around fun and girl-friendly day that brought new clients through the door.
Snippets from our "Girl Meets Doll" day including the custom Girl-Doll Trading Cards plus snapshots of doll lovers in action. We featured a do-it-yourself doll salon area, scrapbook craft project, and more.
Model Intergrity Launch Event - Initial Concept Sheet for Potential Sponsors - This was a fresh concept and a large event planned for the launch of Model Integrity, now a sister business to Feather Blue Studios. Our goal was to reach aspiring talent with a message of integrity (how to get started in the talent scene while avoiding scams) but to make it fun, engaging, and profitable for sponsors. We did this by partnering in many aspects, including utilizing sponsors that needed models for their own business usage and offering that as part of the prize packages.
