evo; travel stories - * this year long thesis project was awarded 2004 Rocket “best of electronica” and will be displayed at the design exchange in toronto november 2004. Rocket is an annual design competition between the graduating classes of the 3 schools of industrial design in ontario, held in the distillery district of toronto.

tooby; living landscape - * every year, as part of the 4th year minor studio, students are asked to design and prototype a piece of furniture. this year's focus was on dynamic urban living spaces. tooby was selected to be shown at the international interior design show in Toronoto and is being considered for further development.

simple mass production techniques,
and three materials.

a decorative box made of birch
and balsa wood, held together
on its own.. no glue.
lessons learned:
measure twice, cut once.
oh go - * a third year 3 week client project; design a trailer or 'lifestyle carrier'. This design mimics the protective and rolling characteristics of an armadillo. Concepts were presented to the client in a professional environment.
The focus was to develop 2d rendering skills using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
