CNC Goggles - Challenge To design a product to enable the ability to develop CAD/CAM skills. Response Through the use of Solidworks the design was created around the ergonomics of the user. The design was kept clean and simple, incorporating a HD camera to enable users to film thier experiences when skiing.
Fujin throwing toy - Challenge To design a product which help children to develop their cognitive skills. Response The design of a throwing toy was developed to enable group or individual play with the Fujin. This design allowed for an interchanging tail to denote the game being played. This enabled multiple games to be played with one object.
Challenge To design a system of interaction which allows individual students from different schools to experience a multi-sensory environment. Response The design of a mobile multi-sensory bus was decided upon to enable a unique experience for individuals, which can be transported between schools allowing children to have the same opportunities.
Mycelium Pot - Challenge To develop a way to treat severnside recyclings waste material and find an appropriate application for it. Response As the cradle to cradle philosophy couldn’t be incorporated without causing more problems down the line, The concept of turning a grave material into nutrients for plants was decided upon to create a plant pot by using mycelium to breakdown potentially harmful materials which then acted as plant food.
Samsung Concept - Challenge To develop a new design for Samsung using form, shape, alignment methodologies. Response After market research into the personas of emerging professionals and using the form deconstruction and alignment methodologies, the overall form, shape and colour were systematically decided upon.
Stationery Holder - Challenge To design a pen holder and tape dispenser combination design to fit into the current product range. Response Through product positioning and the deconstruction of the companies product range ten concepts were developed into Solidworks file to enable the client to view a realistic concept view. The final design was developed and is currently being manufactured.
Yacht Interior - Challenge To design the interior of a super 200m yacht using the clients designs and particular taste. Response Room designs for the main deck of the yacht were developed with the client in collaboration.
