Dawa Malaria

How to Cure Malaria.
The Dawa product family consists of 4 parts: a bayonet/blood slide, a centre console, an interactive app and a correlation hub. The concept combines the booming mobile phone market in Africa with basic medicine and theory.

The User scenario is as follows. Nuaty, an 11 year old from Ethiopia, owns cheap bayonet. Following few instructions, he unknowingly prepares blood slide with bayonet. Nuaty submits bayonet to centre console. This centre console then aids Nuaty in self-diagnosing their blood in order to check for malaria. It then sends off this data to a central hub, where this, and the continent's, data is correlated. This correlation is displayed in the form of a health forecast on the free Dawa Malaria app. Nuaty looks at the malaria predictions and decides whether he should take his anti-malarial drugs, leaving them time to kick in, giving Nuaty the knowledge and power to take charge of his own malarial health. We have the tools to eliminate malaria.
