Exhibit - Amazon Flooded Forest
Amazon Flooded Forest - Oregon Zoo - First mixed species exhibit located in a renovated section of the original primates building at the Oregon Zoo in Portland, Oregon. The enclosure hosed many species of birds, reptiles, amphibians, insects and primates that make up specific section of the Amazon ecosystem. The public side of the exhibit was themed as an amazon village where visitors learned about experiences of native Amazonian peoples along the river. Interpretives and touch screen interactives were utilized to tell the story.
