Boat Station

A Year 1 project, the intention of this project was to 'marry' my boat station with the existing Robertson Bridge, so as to 'continue' the spatial relationship from the bridge to my station. The existing steel structure of the bridge seems to point its spaces to the direction across Singapore River. The boat station aims to continue that journey, serving not just as a stopping point for boat taxis but also rest points for strollers along the river.

Steel was chosen as the main material to relate to the existing language of the bridge.
