5. Kauai -2012
This particular photo was taken in Kauai, Hawaii during our first trip to the island back in 2012. This location of Kilauea Point National Wildlife Refuge is a sanctuary for area’s species of seabirds and the Kilauea Light House. After walking up to take photos of the Lighthouse I look to my right and saw how the water was breaking against the coastline and was amazed. The view off the rugged northern coastline and the deep-blue Pacific makes this the perfect vantage point for photos. I immediately wanted to capture that moment as the water splashed up against the coastline rocks.
