Design proposal for dining room remodel of Rosebud Restaurant. Art deco theme recommended to reinforce existing 1930's Hollywood movie theme within the restaurant. Drapery wall treatments suggested to break up large wall spaces, and to add a more dramatic flair. Period furniture and lighting fixtures would be selected to compliment existing dining booths and tables to reinforce a fine dining atmosphere.
Bar proposal illustration for Rosebud Restaurant that further develops existing 1930's Hollywood movie theme. Space reconfiguration allows for a more open and energized bar environment. Bar back wall features large scale period portraiture (photography or paintings) to create visual interest. DJ booth is integrated into the end bar area with a tall shelving built-in for stereo components and records.

Interior design client, upscale Northwest contemporary home built in 1956 with sunken living room that looks into a center courtyard lanai. Updated numerous mid century era pieces with furniture expressing more of a traditional interest and design direction.
Furniture and accessories were selected to compliment the massive stone fireplace and earth tone color pallet.
Dining room retained the original danish modern dining table but was accented with new area rug and ceiling fixture.

Before picture of 1940's era oak dresser cabinet previously painted in three coats of varying paint colors. Stripped and sanded, I then spray painted the piece in flat black adding new chrome plated hardware with white imitation ivory centers.

Re-claimed furniture prototype for a table lamp built with an automotive transmission planetary gear as a base. Aluminum tube center post contains threaded lamp post, wiring, and hardware fittings that secure pieces to the base. Lamp shade is a recovered existing frame in black semigloss shade material.
