Mira Leather Couch Design
The brief for this project was to design and develop a series of renders to exhibit a new collection of luxury leather.
With sustainability at the forefront, this collection of by Garrett Leather is processed using the more environmentally-conscious olive leaf tanning.
Mira is a natural grain,aniline, pull-up leather that balances luxury with mindfulness. In addition to the processes involved, this material is designed to age well with a rich patina as it wears.
I learned a lot from this project, and it helped me understand how important translating the ambiguous feeling of a material into something real.
