Babak-Babak Rembulan (Lunar Cycles): "Babak" in Indonesian means phases, but also translates to acts in a play, this poster depicts the drama of the Balinese lunar cycle myth. Where the moon goddess Dewi Ratih is constantly chased across the night sky by the vengeful headless giant Kala Rauh, each time he swallows the goddess she escapes through the giant's severed throat. Menjangan Poleng: 'Poleng' just basically means black and white, often referring to the ubiquitous Balinese chequered black and white cloths often adorning buildings and temples during hindu ceremonies. This is part of a series of posters depicting deers and different cycles of the moon. This artwork will be available at www.motiffliving.com

A piece commissioned for Cleo Indonesia's 5th anniversary. This was available as desktop (and pretty much lots of things with screens) wallpaper downloads at this very long link: http://www.cleo.co.id/entertainment/whats.happening/birthday.postcards/001/021/9
Make a Friend Friday: A piece for Nylon Indonesia's ArtRadar feature. I'm a big fan of Terry Pratchett's Discworld, especially the witch novels. Here I'm imagining a productive start to the weekend would be making new friends, literally!
