Anemone Clock - The Anemone Clock is the only alarm clock that you have to chase around when it sounds, and is the only alarm clock to shake you awake when you pick it up.
I created this alarm clock because all other alarm clocks are simply too easy to turn off, which leads back to sleeping, hence waking up late.

Phillips UniCast WIRELESS HDMI SYSTEM - The UniCastâ„¢ is the first wireless HDMI in-room solution that can transfer an uncompressed 1080p signal without any signal loss with a range of 25 plus feet. The system operates in the ultra wide band (UWB) range which has no interference with traditional wireless devices. The units can be placed anywhere within a room without any signal loss.

Paint Chip Card Holders! - I needed a card holder for my custom sized cards, went over to home depot, grabbed a few of those paint chips, picked my favorite colors, made a few bends here and there, and bahm, I have my very own cool hand-made paint chip card holder! Many more pictures on my blog with a DIY guide here: http://www.designverb.com/2006/11/12/paint-chip-card-holder/
Slap! - A simple 12-24" ruler designed to be portable and compact. Inspired by the popular "slap bracelets" that everyone had as a child back in the 80's. Lock the ruler straight to use, then snap it back to shape to store away… even slap it onto your wrist like the good ole days!

Wall-Stairs - A redefined door.
I defined a door as "an element of a wall that allowed passageway to another environment when opened and restricted passageway when closed."

Voila, a solution for a door that closes, restricting space to an upper floor.

Pen-Cell - A research intensive project for the MIT AgeLab researching and designing products for the actively aging population.

This particular project questioned why technology has replaced our memory, and what are ways in which technology can become an aid, rather than a replacement. Observations in user feedback, user studies, ergonomics, usability, and user acceptance were major factors in this research project.
