The objective of this project was to find the best comprehensive design response to the host building assigned. The host building is the first floor of the NBC building, located at 225 Broadway, in downtown San Diego. Our goal was to create a restaurant/bar that told a story; one that embodies the city, its people, and the opportunities it brings. The space has an atmosphere that reflects the city's energetic and stimulating culture. Inspiration derived from the novel, The Secret Garden, bringing the beauty and positivity of natural elements to the restaurant's interior.
