iPod accessory design program (1/2) - The initial decision to split up products in Kensington's iPod accessory line among several marketing managers and various manufacturers magnified the need to ensure consistency across products. As a solution, I developed a style guide that included detailed manufacturing specifications to capture design intent and maintain consistency. This later evolved into a long term design program to establish an aspirational personality for all products in the category.

Category design plan - A design language establishes a distinct identity for a company's products. It aligns product design with a company's core values and promotes a consistent look and feel for consistent messaging to consumers. It also provides team members with a unified design direction for approaching and evaluating products. I developed the Power design language to define an appropriate personality for the Power category and to reflect and reinforce the Kensington brand. Graphic design by Anvil
