RDS iPod radio transmitter (1/3) - A radio transmitter plays music stored on a music device over radio signals. Kensington developed the first transmitter in the market to use RDS (Radio Data System, which sends data along with conventional FM radio signals) to display song and artist names on RDS equipped car stereos. As Kensington's highest priced, top-of-the-line FM transmitter, this required a compelling design on par with its price and performance.
RDS iPod radio transmitter (2/3) - Brushed aluminum rocker switches contrast the polished, high-gloss plastic for a premium look and feel. The clean and simple single-piece switches avoid button clutter and complement car interiors. Rotation of the angled body promotes optimal positioning of the controls and avoids interference with shifters, coin trays, and other obstructions.
