Moby - With virtually no constraints this project was a sculptural exploration of materials and form. I selected materials that have cool and warm characteristics. It was important to me that the materials were represented in an honest state. The early work of Charles and Ray Eames and their approach to materials was a source of inspiration.

Chair in progress - This is a chair project I have been working on for the last few months. The wood portions are custom made plywood and molded plywood.
The "hoop" arm rest is mild steel.It will be chrome plated. Yet to come is a cushion on the seat. Thick wool over the back, arm rests covered with the same wool
as the back, and a mechanism that will connect to the arm rest rails and regulate the recline angle.
