The 24/7 Hub - public transport shelter
scale 1:20 model development
Night View - Floor to ceiling lighting connecting nearby shelters. Providing adequate street lighting and improving levels of personal safety.
Information Kiosk - The Information Kiosk is a 4 in 1 product. The interactive touch screen shows up-to minute travel times, tourist information and is another platform for advertising. The inlayed lighting of the Hub and ground, also link up-to the Kiosk, creating a continuos flow of light. On the reverse side, a Safety Point Alarm improves personal safety levels in the area. The Information Kiosk should become a recognisable symbol in a city, and can be used by all members of the community.
Single Seater Unit - Single seater unit with larch wood roof. Includes red, freestanding information board
Double Bay Unit - The transport operator has the option to include a single or double bench. This option allows adequate space for wheelchair and buggy access.
Green Roof - A new look for the green roof. Inspired by the many exhaust pipes, vents and machines pumping fumes into the air. With the modular option, the transport operator can choose any combination of heights and colours. With tall and hanging plants introduced, the green roof becomes visually appealing from ground level, and from the window of a double-decker. The 'pipes' have been designed with adequate drainage and are easily replaced during maintenance.
Bicycle Bay - The bicycle bay comes in a range of powder coated colours, and can easily hold four bikes. A creative person could fit up to eight bicycles at this bay.
