Concept:
- Revised manufacturing process
- Easy to exchange parts
- Personalized design
This prosthetic hand is prototype that users can control intuitively using muscle signals measured on the amputated end. Such technology has been commercialized, however, there remains critical problems which are:
- Extremely expensive($10,000~$40,000)
- Difficult to repair
- Homogeneous design
(design to conceal the lost hand)
This prototype "handiii" reduces costs by using and 3D printer and app-based smartphone technology that collects muscle signals.
