Nintendo 64 Controller Redesign Responding to the prompt of dissecting a simple electrical appliance, measuring and modeling its interior components, and redesigning its housing to better serve its purpose, I chose to remodel the nostalgically non-ergonomic Nintendo 64 controller. The controller repositions the secondary controls of the original controller out of the way, and makes the essential components more comfortably accessible for the hand.
Clutch Connection Form Study This Solidworks model is a form study experimenting with rapid prototyping 3D printing. It it designed to take advantage of the flexibility of the printed plastic to allow the two pieces to snap together. The two modules are continuous, and could create a chain that could be connected as well as snapped apart easily.
