LOGRA Window handle
Todays handles are often made out of cold materials such as metal and obstructs the view when in use. As a response to that an organic form using the natural material of bamboo is used. Natural wood brings warmth and closeness to nature and creates an inviting feeling to letting the fresh air inside. A slightly glossy texture with a warm tone reflects the natural sunlight. Layered sheets of wood lets the sunlight shine through. The rounded shape together with the warm wood brings comfort to the hand. By using bamboo the environmental impact is kept low. The number of different materials and components used are deliberately kept to a minimum for easier dissasembly and recycling.
