Any audiophile of the baby-boomers generation will resonate with AMR-Audio as one of the greatest makers of home audio systems. Today AMR combine valve technology and silicon micro-procesor technologies to produce home audio systems that deliver magnificent playback of musical harmonies. I was part of a live project team tasked to design concepts of AMR’s cd-player and amplifier housings that would be appealing to the current generation of consumers. Selected concepts were developed and would potentially go into production. My design concept as shown, maintained AMR’s design language while adding a modern and simple aesthetic elegance.
