Hotel Casa Poli Branding and Integration

Inspired by a sunflower pattern and Fibonacci sequence, this branding project was designed to represent a new boutique hotel in Mantova, Italy. After several meetings with the client, we discovered that while remodeling the structure, many bronze sunflowers were found on the site. We decided to use the sunflowers in the renovation and they also became the inspiration for the brand. The elegant pattern was integrated across all business and marketing materials. And we extended the brand into the hotel environment. I think the most innovative use of the logo is at the front door of each guest room. The room card activates the electricity in a room to save money and power. While a guest is present, the card turns on a light projection of the logo on the floor to the side of the door. In the dimly lit hallway, this is a functional way to show occupancy and create a branded mood.
