Planmeca PlanMill 40 S, 30 S and 35 dental mills

A lot of dental restorations like crowns are still prepared manually by dental technicians. No matter how skilled the craftmanship is, they never fit perfectly, and the restoration is taken out for rework.... They can also stick out from the row of teeth - even a fraction of a millimeter can cause severe headaches. And they don'tlast more than a few years.

Fast forward to now: After 3D scanning, new crowns can be designed with the help of almost completely automated software. The design can then be sent to a mill inside the same clinic and the perfectly-fitting crown for life can be installed within an hour. Same-day dentistry. No rework.

Planmeca PlanMill 40 S: double-spindle wet milling: Crowns in 10 minutes
Planmeca PlanMill 30 S: single-spindle wet milling entry level
Planmeca PlanMill 35: single-spindle for both wet and dry milling, including zirconium dioxide.
