Living and Kitchen Interior for a Small Apartment
This is a proposal for a living and dining space for a small apartment in Male, Maldives. The challenge was creating the concept of space when space is limited through mixing the right combination of colors, texture and lighting to create an impression of being in a wider space and get the feeling of being able to breathe inside.
Male, Maldives is such a challenging location as most of the spaces are small and don't have much options for windows, materials are limited and only a few are really open to experimenting different material finishes. They are also fond of odd corners! But luckily, this unit is an exemption.
