I created a custom content type for group members to dynamically keep the lists up-to-date. This architecture makes it easier for students without web design experience to maintain the site.
I created a custom content type for publications and captured the citation parameters (author, title, journal, pages, etc.) in discrete fields. Then I used a Drupal view to organize and display the publications. I included a field to capture the research topic for each publication and created views to display by topic as well as chronologically.
An illustration depicting quorum sensing and low and high cell density. I created the image using Inkscape to include on the Research page of the site.
