EggMouse - “EggMouse” - a computer mouse that tackles the ergonomic problems from their root causes and its use intrinsically changes the way the mouse is held thus avoiding the onset of RSI’s.
EggMouse - The EggMouse is, as has been mentioned previously, a response to the growing problems of RSI in the workplace. The mouse rotated the hand through 90 degrees so to relieve static loading and to give more dexterity over cursor movement. The mouse comprises of a sealed optical unit, which is placed in the silicone mould whilst the silicone is injected and cures. An LED gives indication of the mouse button. The above is a FULLY functional co-moulded prototype. Right hand image is best viewed with red/cyan stereo glasses.
Molten Lava Mug - The luminaire captures the second droplet, as it falls into a mug placed under a leaking roof, as it uses with the stationary surface. An image often seen on the walls of office's and physics textbooks across the world. In the one word brief, "Fusion" I made full use of the RP facilities. The luminaire is simply a small coffee cup with a dashboard bulb placed within. The EnvisionTech STL printer produced the lava droplet.
Plant Luminaire - Why look at just the flowers on a plant? What began as a take on the light bulb/flower bulb, became something new all together. LED light is captured in the gel and is propelled upwards in to the room. The plant is cultivated like any other household plant. (The moist gel conditions provide an excellent soil for orchids)
