Hull School of Art and Design Year 2 - Withernsea Boat Club
This Project was undertaken as part of my architecture degree during the 2nd year.
The project fitted into a group masterplan in which the whole year group designed a series of interventions along the promenade of Withernsea.
This specific project involved the relocation of the old boating club and was to include new facilities including a chandlers, education centre and cafeteria. the proposal addressed the lack of connection between water and promenade .
The project included the improvement of the existing promenade, encouraging a more active public realm and acted as a new nodal point for activity on the waters edge.
