Hurley Retro Runner - This retro running shoe is a quick rendering I did using Adobe Illustrator. The shoe is made of woven hemp, faux suede and an eva midsole that is cold cemented to a rubber outsole.
Nike Ibutho - The Nike Ibutho is designed to be the 2012 Olympic Boxing Shoe for South Africa. My team and I researched the soul, aesthetics, and performance needs of South African boxers. The name Ibutho, or 'warrior' in Zulu, was given so that the fighter could feel fearlessness in restoring pride to his country like a modern day Shaka Zulu. This shoe was selected to be exhibited at the Nike World Headquarters, 2008 North American International Auto Show, and was awarded a Nike Sponsored Studio Scholarship.
