The designed are planned for simple tab/slot construction using major components to interlock with and support each other. Concept and design development, 2010-2011. Several product categories were identified as ideal for using flat-pak stye design and assembly methods and outdoor wild bird feeders fit that well. Using living hinge molded PP and PE plastics, a flat-pak kit takes far less shipping volume and can be displayed in unique ways on the sales floor. Multi-sided shapes can be developed that work as traditional feeders, but look and fit into more modern urban settings.
Collapsible Feeders. Concept, Industrial Design, Project Development, 2011 - 2012.
