Large artifact display case at Liberty Station
This project was an exercise in research and logistics. A large brass model of a Navy warship, well over eight feet long, required a very large dust cover to protect the delicate and historic detail on the model. My original presentation shows multiple clear panels secured with standard hardware. After a lot of vendor research a found two acrylic fabricators willing to tackle a job of this scale. The winning bidder charged half of the other one, saving the client a lot of money.
