The project required us to design a primary 'free school' with an emphasis on creative arts in Sneinton, Nottingham. Unlike typical city centre schools my concept revolved around creating a sheltered campus style environment where each year group was situated in a 'pavilion' and the scheme was protected by a defensive green wall.
