Public House, London

The project brief was to design a new Public House in on the site of the former Engine House of Smithfield Market, London. Key aims were to interact with existing fabric and engage with the “intangible cultural heritage” of the traditional London Pub typology.

The concept for my design was to challenge the premise that a pub needed a “personal touch” so I removed the barman replacing them with an articulated robotic arm.
