Infographic exercise about Movimiento Ilicito's case

Movimiento Ilicito is a venezuelan urban clothing brand for skaters and extreme sports aficionados which, in 2010, had troubles with "justice" (yes, these are quotation marks!) because of a stamped T-shirt during its second collection release.

This T-shirt design altered the national venezuelan crime police logo and, instead of the name of the police force, it'd shown the clothing brand's name (spoofing its aesthetics to create some sort of subvertising).

Venezuelan authorities under Chávez' regime took brutal actions against the brand owners, not only confiscating its products without any legal warrant, but imprisoning, extorsioning and defaming some of its workers and representatives. Two of them were subjected to an unfair and unfinished trial, and these two people are my dad and a close family friend.

This is an infographic I made related to this case, as an exercise for my graphic design studies in Medellín. I do not show the original art here for legal security reasons.
