Vick Moore developed a comprehensive set of exterior wayfinding signage design guidelines for the college. Additionally, Vick worked with the college to implement the design at the main Joliet campus.
The design guidelines divided the campus into wayfinding zones. Each zone was assigned a color and primary destinations were established to help organize the wayfinding information. In addition to vehicular and pedestrian directionals, signs identifying campus buildings and parking lots were developed and coordinated with the wayfinding zones. To reinforce the school’s identity, the wayfinding graphics incorporated branding elements and colors.
