Family; major repairs, and portrait - Major correction and repair was required to this family photo, including repairing a missing chair leg, giving space around the mother's head, replacing a child's eye (a little too dark), baby's boots and an infant's face. The spot damage to this photo was extensive, and the existing detail was vague, making this photo even more difficult to correct. In contrast, the portrait of a young woman was enhanced using contrast, and making minor repairs.
Minor corrections - A black and white photo, edited to correct scratches and dust, and improve the contrast in the photo. Converting it to grayscale and printing it with today's printers actually yielded a warmer gray palette than the original photo.
Regular repair and corrections - A series of black and white photos, correcting scratches, dust, folds, and an over-exposure problem in developing. The last was the most challenging to completely repair, as some details (like what the boy was holding) were almost lost.
