ARIEL CRUISER

  • As a enthusiast of vintage bikes,I really like this design, the way you kept those classic lines and the whole visual package is wonderful....I ride a 1949 BSA B31 everyday,so the way that mechanical solutions were done back then shows how good they were because my bike is still running! This design will still be around in 60 years as it looks solid! Ingenious!

  • Wish I had followed this more. Tremendous effort, such a truly unique design. A big, hearty congratulations Vasilatos! You're one of the hardest working designers I know.

  • call me stupid, but i can't figure it out - is this a belt drive transmission or a chain transmission? don't get me wrong - i love the concept. wouldn't spend my time typing the comment if i didn't, right?

  • alright, got it now - there's an engine. so that explains having both belt and chain. in the beginning you had me thinking - this is just a pedal cruiser. still i don't thing there's enough room for cylinder etc. but a cool concept nonetheless!

  • Hi Alex ! no problem with your questions, in the original design I made it with belt drive but after that I made version with chain drive system in the Ariel Cruiser 02 Black Edition and there is room for the engine no prblem and they build it right now on Local Motors and if you like take a visit to the website and see it come to life! All the best
