Pokud jste už byli prekvapeni necekaným hostem a nemeli jste po ruce dostatek pohodlného nábytku, potom by mohla být vhod X Chair. Tato neobvyklá židle byla navržena do malého moderního bytu. Hlavním cílem bylo vytvorit pohodlné kreslo, které se prizpusobí ergonomii lidského tela, duraz byl kladen také na snadnou skladovatelnost a prenositelnost nábytku. Design je založen na laminování vlnené plsti s prekližkou, což dodává kreslu flexibilitu a smysl pro detail.

enough comfortable furniture? In that case
the X Chair would certainly come in handy.
This unusual arm chair was designed as
ideal modern furniture for a small
apartment. The aim was to create not only a comfortable armchair, which follows the
ergonomics of every human body.
The concept is based on laminating wool felt in between layers of plywood, which gives the X Chair an interesting design detail.

Joining of the two different materials - woolen felt and plywood - creates an interesting element. The purpose was to create an unusual symbiosis of materials when using laminating technology, this gives the armchair material contrast, flexibility and foldability. Choice of materials allows range of colour and shape variations. Another benefit is relatively quick production process. Using of laser cutting for making up individual parts to the exact shape makes the process of laminating possible in only a few steps.
