Stay a while... Stay forever
While humanity takes the first steps into exploring the infinite landscapes of virtual reality,
corporations such as Meta are already investing to colonise, mercify and trap users (also
known as people) in the inescapable labyrinth of the profit machine.
The project explores the communication potential of the virtual medium and, opposing the
mechanisms used to manipulate users , attempts to create a space of autonomy within it to
reach and liberate the people that inhabit its space.
Currently residing in the VRChat metaverse, disguising itself as the usual cosy lounge experience, it takes the user on a journey to experience the unescapable mechanisms of the social media profit machine.
