"Always Young at Heart". Years ago, my husband and I went to the Rogers Cup Tennis tournament in Toronto. It was a qualifying rounds day, a Family Day, with lots of promotions, samples and products give-aways. After one match my husband went for a quick walk to stretch his legs, and I stayed back in the shade to keep our spot for the next match. When it took him too long to come back, I went to look for him. I turned the corner and I saw something like this. A Cotton Candy cart with a long line of kids. And there he was, my sweet-tooth big kid, patiently waiting for his turn.

Watercolor. Personal project. A reproduction of Paul Seignac's "Dividing the Spoils", also referred to as "The plate of cherries". I copied it from a beautiful gift set address book.
