A Luminaire - Her glow
The floor is rough,
But when she touches,
It becomes soft like her,
The glow from her face reaches the floor,
Hearts are open, closed are the doors.
Its only an attempt,
A futile attempt,
She wants to reach my heart,
She wants to search my soul,
But all in vain, she must stay on the floor,
Coz I am, but a man, behind the dungeon doors…..
ROSH is a floor mounted Luminaire for corner lighting for a living room.
It has a clap switch mechanism and 20 watt CFL tube.
The beauty of the luminaire lies in its simplistic and minimalist approach.
The properties of two different materials is used to get a good light quality from a CFL tube. The opacity and rigidity of metal and the translucent property of frosted acrylic are combined to develop this design.
For corner lighting of the living room, the design of the luminaire is explored in the vertical direction.
Candle Stand - The brilliant ambience of the candle light flows through the slits of the candle stand and settles on the dinning table.
‘Glow Worm’ is a lifestyle product. It will sit on the dinning table like a glow worm in the dark.
It gives the right height to the candle so that light will fall on the plate and partially on the face while having a candle light dinner. It has a luminous surface with slits so that light reflects from the surface and creates an ambience around.
A Peddle Boat - Travel on water should be peaceful,
having least mechanical sound and
more sound of the splashing water.
It should be with a speed that is
moderate and such that one can
enjoy the journey.
It's a boat specially designed for an
environment friendly travel on water
using human power and yet having
high speed. Here, there are no
motors used, but a system of pedal
and gears used to rotate the
propeller.
This boat is meant for a speedy
travel in places where traveling is on
water. Each person can have his
individual boat and not depend on a
mass transit system. Thus, it will act
as a personal vehicle. It is a compact
vehicle made of lightweight material
carrying a single passenger. Due to its
sleek shape, it will use lesser area
at the harbor.
Its an automobile designed with a
purpose and can be effectively put to
use in the present scenario.
A Recreational Mobility Aid for Physicaly Challenged Children - Not a wheelchair or a handcycle, but a recreational cycle specially designed for Physically Challened Children having Lower Limb Disability in the age group 5 to 10 years. It is independently driven by Children giving them enough upper body exercise. A style statement for the Physically Challeneged Child giving him the independence that he deserves. This cycle is easy to sit and easy to transfer from a wheelchair, compact, no risk of falling down and has a good turning radius.
A stabilizer -
The main features of the design is that-
-The stabilizer can be easily lifted and carried.
-The voltmeter and the switch is placed at an angle so the readings can be easily seen.
-The front plastic cover can be removed easily for repair work.
-The plastic cover covers the front part of the stabilizer which gives it a user friendly look.
