Co-branded promotional campaign for SUCHU Dance × Frida Mexican Kitchen — brokered cross-promotional partnership between neighboring businesses, designed web banner, print program insert, and in-restaurant flyer. Campaign brought first-time contemporary dance audiences who discovered the theater through the restaurant and returned for subsequent shows.
Multi-photo composite web and print banner for SUCHU Dance — 5 performance photos blended via layer masking, typography and color palette chosen to match show energy, press pull quote from the Houston Chronicle. Designed to function across multiple contexts including Facebook cover (with profile image crop consideration) and print program insert.
Circular die cut event flyer for BOSK — shape and finish chosen to evoke the show's outdoor theme. Spot gloss on 'BOSK' creates tactile contrast against the wood grain texture, connecting to the real trees harvested for the stage set. Designed to give audiences a physical sense of earth when holding the piece. Full bleed, spot color.
Event poster for The Cork-Screwed Revue at The Corkscrew Piano Lounge — original creative direction with no agency brief. 10-element photo composite built from supplied performer photos, venue photography, and stock imagery. Vintage revue aesthetic developed from scratch to match the venue's personality. Hand-masked curly hair cutout executed pre-smart-select. Designed, printed, and finished in-house with full bleed on cutting machine. Commissioned by agency referral.
SUCHU Dance website built in Adobe Muse — full page design from blank template, rollover text animations, photo hover effects with video popups, Google Maps integration for new location announcement, and Constant Contact email list popup developed in collaboration with a developer. Background features the iconic SUCHU Dance Jacob's Pillow photograph. Part of an ongoing series of show-specific splash pages and periodic main page refreshes maintained throughout the company's history.
