Distinctive and technologically functional lighting solution for the precious architectural Neoclassical milieu of Senate square.

Senate square is historical and precious milieu, but at the same time it is a living city space and stage for various events. The design proposal is inspired by the former historical castiron lighting pole models and especially the model from 1930s.

The proposed street light is Helsinki`s historical Y-luminaire`s LED-version. The design aims to make the pole look petite like the historical castiron models.
