Wearable payment jewelry

autumn 2014-spring 2015

Methodology: Literature research, benchmarking, prototyping, focus group interview, usability- and desirability study in lab setting

I did my master thesis project while working as a 3d-printing specialist in MIcrosoft Mobile`s Design Department`s 3D-lab. My idea was to create safer and more convenient everyday contactless payment solution for young women.

Key points:

- What kind of design would acceptable for screen less wearable device (aimed for payment)? Target group: young women

- Rapid prototyping and user-centered design methods to support design concept -making

The project`s end result was design concept depicted by prototypes and pictures and a written thesis report about the design process and philosophy behind the design work.
