I became much more interested in 3D Printing during my placement year working for PDC Ltd. We used 3D Printing to present to clients a tangible product before advancing to the next stage of the design process, as well as proving a concept and helping us choose the best design concepts.
My passion for 3D Printing goes beyond work, since I have worked with 6 3D Printers (4 FDM, 1 SLS, and 1 SLA), and owned 2 3D Printers. This spurred me on to buy broken 3D Printers to fix and resell them for a profit while at university. So far this has proven to be an enjoyable hobby during my spare time, and also rewarding because of the profit made upon each sale.
