Exploring News Viewing Habits (Research + Interaction)

This is a project we did in Interactive Media Workshop with professor Tom MacTavish. It is sponsored by a confidential client, who is a international media company. They want to increase their online video viewership. Our team was especially focusing on exploring people's habits and mental models when viewing news and video. We conducted secondary research, primary research(interviews, diary study, survey, self-documented video), analysis, synthesis, concept generation, low and high fidelity prototyping, quick prototype testing and user storytelling. We presented our research findings along the way to our client.
