Jersey Archives Product Line - A high-end sports collectible that encases an authentic autographed jersey in a commemorative "book-style" keepsake. The project was to generate new interest to our signed jerseys by adding perceived value through packaging. My concept also created a limited edition product that allowed for an increase in margins. This is a patented package design. Athletes shown: Michael Jordan, LeBron James, Kobe Bryant and Daisuke Matsuzaka
Jersey Archives (detail and functionality) Michael Jordan - 1987 Slam Dunk Champion - This high-end packaging is made from black leather textured stock with decorative silver foil stamping on the front and spine. It opens like a book to display a framed signed jersey housed in a sturdy PVC clear case, which can be easily accessed. The inside cover has detailed stats and copy that highlight the commemorative moment to the jersey. I created everything from the branding and patented packaging to the graphics and special woven label.
Vertical Curve Display Case - Product line designed to house and protect a standard 8" x 10" along with a piece of small memorabilia (baseball, hockey puck, golf ball). Responsible for the concept and engineering of the display case. Athletes shown: Patrick Kane , Steven Stamkos, Jonathan Toews and Milan Lucic (prints designed by Vince Chang)
Vertical Curve Display Case (functionality) - Initial sketches of concept and how the acrylic pieces will be engineered. Designed for versatility, the display comes with three inserts to showcase different memorabilia. Athletes shown: Albert Pujols and Tiger Woods
Proshots Brand - Collectible Sport Figurines This hyper-realistic sports figurine collection includes 3 different skus (Hobby, Retail, and Ultimate). We focused only on the best athletes (Michael Jordan, Muhammad Ali and Tiger Woods) to capture the most memorable moments in sports history. Responsible for the branding, packaging and engineering of the figures.
Proshots Brand - Along with the logo, the different packaging skus and the trading card design, these images shows off the sculpted figures likeness and attention to details.
Proshots - Michael Jordan - 1998 NBA Finals winning Last Shot One of MJ's most memorable moments, his final shot in a Bulls uniform to win his 6th championship. From the muscles and facial expression to the NBA Finals patch on the jersey to of course "the shoes", these close ups of the figure shows off the amazing details.
Proshots - Muhammad Ali - 1975 Thrilla in Manila This Heavyweight Boxing Championship bout was fought at the Araneta Coliseum, Philippines. After the split of their first two fights together, Ali and Smokin' Joe fought in arguably the greatest rubber match of all time. The Greatest won by TKO in the 14th round. The likeness of this figure and the diorama (packaging inside print) came out to be one of my favorites in the entire line.
Proshots - Tiger Woods - 2000 British Open Championship With this victory Tiger became the youngest golfer (24 years old) to complete a career Grand Slam, winning all four major tournaments at least once during a career. With the famous clubhouse as the back drop and the figure's textured base that replicates the grass color of the Old Course at St Andrews, this figure captures one of the most powerful swings in golf.
