SolidWorks Model - I was a part of a collegiate vehicle design team for two years while we developed and built this vehicle to race at the SAE National Competition in the Summer of 2008. I was a member one year (freshman year) and a Vice President the next year (sophomore year). The project taught students how to work hard, as a team, with a timeline, on a budget, and with ambiguity.
Completed Vehicle - This was taken just before we headed off to the competition. We ended up finishing in the top third of over 120 teams overall, and had many priceless experiences along the way. I mainly worked on part manufacturing, vehicle assembly, and new member recruitment.
